ARNPEI Outstanding Achievement Award winner Wendy Poole

 

 

ARNPEI Honors Outstanding Achievement Award Recipient

 

The Association of Registered Nurses recently awarded the outstanding achievement award to Wendy Poole Registered Nurse.

 The purpose of this award is to recognize RNs/NPs who have made an outstanding contribution to the health and well-being of the public and the enhancement of the nursing profession.

 

Ms. Poole has a varied background and has worked in roles from staff nurse to clinical educator. She has worked tirelessly to promote the role of nursing as evidenced by her leadership and dedication in advocating for improved quality of patient care and implementing best practices. She exemplifies nursing leadership and has advanced the nursing profession by maximizing the RN scope of practice through the Point of Care Leadership program. She has successfully led many students, at Holland College in both the RCW and LPN programs, and has mentored numerous Registered Nurses in the workplace.
