2017, Nov 21 – Mary Parkman

The Professional Conduct Review Committee finds Mary Parkman (Registration # 003412) guilty of conduct unbecoming the profession of nursing and professional misconduct. The member’s license is revoked for one year and conditions have been imposed. If the conditions are met, Ms. Parkman can re-apply for a license.  If the license is granted, conditions will be imposed for an additional 24 months. The member has also been ordered to pay a fine of $2400 to ARNPEI.

2017, May 18 - Cathy Kaptein

The Professional Conduct Review Committee finds Cathy Kaptein (Registration # 003088) guilty of both conduct unbecoming the profession of nursing and professional misconduct. A reprimand has been issued, and conditions have been imposed on her license for a period of no less than 2 years.  The member has also been ordered to pay a fine of $1000 to ARNPEI.

 

2010, Jan 8 - Karen Dawn MacDonald

Pursuant to Section 31 (2) of the Registered Nurses Act, R.S.P.E.I., 1988, Cap. R-81, c.15, s.32, Karen Dawn MacDonald’s license to practice as a Registered Nurse has been revoked by the Association of Registered Nurses of Prince Edward Island., effective December 15, 2009.
